Support and Maintenance

We Take Care of You

Ongoing support and maintenance ensures your digital work continues to perform well after launch. We stay involved to monitor, update, and refine your site as needs change, handling routine maintenance, updates, and issue resolution so you don’t have to. Our role is to provide steady, responsive support—answering questions, addressing problems, and helping you plan next steps—so you can trust that your digital systems are being cared for over time.

Maintenance

Web maintenance is about keeping your site healthy, usable, and effective over time. We monitor performance and make ongoing improvements that help your site stay fast and reliable, from optimizing assets and removing unused code to leveraging content delivery networks. Small, consistent updates help prevent larger issues and ensure your site continues to meet user expectations.

Maintenance also gives us the opportunity to refine and extend your site as needs change. We evaluate navigation as content grows, making adjustments that improve clarity and help users find what they need more easily. When new functionality is required—whether through custom development or carefully selected tools—we implement upgrades in a way that fits your existing system and supports long-term stability.

Hosting

Hosting plays a critical role in performance, stability, and long-term reliability. We work with a range of hosting providers and are a Platinum Partner with Pantheon, allowing us to evaluate hosting environments based on real technical requirements rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. We review your codebase, CMS, and hosting configuration to identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements that support security, scalability, and predictable performance.

For WordPress and Drupal projects, we often recommend Pantheon because of its workflow-driven architecture, strong disaster recovery, and integrated performance tools. When content is mission-critical, a stable and well-managed hosting environment reduces risk for both clients and development teams. While we support many LAMP-based platforms—including WordPress, Drupal, BigTree, Umbraco, Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, and custom builds—we always focus on selecting and managing hosting in a way that allows us to take full responsibility for your site and provide dependable, ongoing support.

Examples of Our Work

e-QIP

The Ignition72 team met extensively with the GSA, OPM, and other agencies to gather comments and ideas for a revised SF-86 security clearance form system. Over 100 individual user tests were conducted, facilitated by Ignition72. Our team led the participants through the test, gathered information, and wrote reports that would inform our design of the new system.

Widener University Law Schools

Our partnership with Widener University led to the building of new websites for two law schools at once, with separate identities, functionality, and content.

Maryland OES

Ignition72 designed and built the University of Maryland Extended Studies Office website, which administers courses for pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as other important programs and various professional and continuing education courses. The site required large scale functionality in service of a diverse body of students and stakeholders.

St. Mary’s

Founded in 1791, St. Mary’s Seminary & University is the first Catholic seminary established in the United States. Through its Center for Continuing Formation and Ecumenical Institute, St. Mary’s also provides for advanced theological study, the ongoing formation of those in ministry, and a center of preparation for missionary discipleship. I72 was proud to work with St. Mary’s to develop a site that showcased its distinct strengths, commitment to superior theological training and scholarship and the life and education of seminarians.
