Audience Focus

We Make Sure Your Audience is Understood and Supported

We identify audience needs through interviews, surveys, focus groups, heat mapping, and other research methods. Together, we develop clear user personas to ensure design decisions are grounded in real user behavior from the start. Our Certified Accessibility experts ensure experiences meet compliance requirements, helping all users access content with confidence. The result is digital experiences that feel clear, inclusive, and thoughtfully designed around your audience.

Getting to Know the Audience

We begin by learning how your audiences think, behave, and make decisions. Through interviews, surveys, focus groups, heat mapping, and data analysis, we gather insight into what people are trying to accomplish and where they experience friction. This research helps us move beyond assumptions and design based on real needs and expectations.

We translate those insights into clear user personas and shared understanding, so every decision is grounded in who the audience actually is. By keeping their goals and perspectives at the center of the work, we create experiences that feel intuitive and considered—helping users feel understood, supported, and confident as they move through your digital spaces.

Ensuring Every User is On Board

We prioritize usability and accessibility so every user can navigate, understand, and interact with your site with confidence. Accessible design reduces friction, removes barriers, and ensures people with different abilities, devices, and contexts can fully engage with your content. When accessibility is built in from the start, the experience feels clearer and more supportive for everyone—not just a subset of users—resulting in digital spaces that are easier to use, more trustworthy, and more inclusive by design.

The Chicago Parent Program (CPP) is a group-based parenting skills training program serving families with young children by helping to improve skills and confidence and reducing behavior problems. Ignition72 worked with the program to arm professionals with a video-based training platform to conduct sessions and transfer the knowledge, skills, and materials needed to implement the CPP in their agency and practice. Integral to the development was multilingual functionality and proper accessibility.

Examples of Our Work

e-QIP

The Ignition72 team met extensively with the GSA, OPM, and other agencies to gather comments and ideas for a revised SF-86 security clearance form system. Over 100 individual user tests were conducted, facilitated by Ignition72. Our team led the participants through the test, gathered information, and wrote reports that would inform our design of the new system.

Widener University Law Schools

Our partnership with Widener University led to the building of new websites for two law schools at once, with separate identities, functionality, and content.

Maryland OES

Ignition72 designed and built the University of Maryland Extended Studies Office website, which administers courses for pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as other important programs and various professional and continuing education courses. The site required large scale functionality in service of a diverse body of students and stakeholders.

St. Mary’s

Founded in 1791, St. Mary’s Seminary & University is the first Catholic seminary established in the United States. Through its Center for Continuing Formation and Ecumenical Institute, St. Mary’s also provides for advanced theological study, the ongoing formation of those in ministry, and a center of preparation for missionary discipleship. I72 was proud to work with St. Mary’s to develop a site that showcased its distinct strengths, commitment to superior theological training and scholarship and the life and education of seminarians.
